The Sonnenkamp complex is embedded in nature and features an unobstructed view of the extensive green cultivated landscape in the surrounding area. The fields, meadows and wooded areas and an extensive network of paths offer diverse opportunities for local recreation in the immediate vicinity of the complex.

Wolfsburg’s city centre, with its wide range of shopping facilities and services, secondary schools, cultural institutions and kindergartens, as well as sports and leisure facilities, is only five kilometres away from the new housing development area.

The west side of the new housing development area is bordered by the L 322 (Nordsteimker Straße) and the east side by the L 290 (Zollstraße). The surrounding districts of Wolfsburg are Hehlingen, Nordsteimke and Reislingen.

One major advantage of the Sonnenkamp complex is that the local amenities are available right from the very beginning, even for the first residents, due to the proximity of the residential area to the existing city districts with their well-established infrastructure.
